Give a command an encore

Repeat related commands without repeating the whole key sequence.

built-in / navigation

Enable repeat-mode in Emacs 28 or later. Commands that provide a repeat map let you keep going with a single key.

Try C-x o to move to another window, then press o again. The echo area tells you which repeat keys are available. C-g leaves the repeat map.
