Let Eglot do the introductions
Connect a project to an installed language server.
Eglot is built into Emacs 29 and later. You still need to install a language server for your language, such as clangd for C and C++.
Open a source file and run M-x eglot. Emacs offers completion, diagnostics, and navigation using its ordinary editing commands.
Start interactively before adding the use-package declaration. That makes missing executables and project configuration problems easier to understand. The example starts Eglot in C and C++ buffers; adapt the hooks for your language.
Completion, project navigation, Flymake diagnostics, and Eldoc documentation use familiar built-in interfaces rather than a separate dashboard.
;; Emacs 29+, with clangd installed separately.
